Challenge
The client's conveyor belt cover compound is sheeted out in wide, thick sheets. The existing cooling method cooled unevenly and the sheets stuck together, limiting the overall pace of the mixing line.
Our Solution
Configured a film cooling machine (combined water + air cooling, variable-frequency speed control), with hangers and cooling-section parameters customized to the sheet width and thickness, linked in control with the sheeting machine.
Results
The sheets are cooled evenly without sticking, the cooling line pace matches the main machine, overall mixing line efficiency improved, and compound storage stability is consistent.
